- Spring (September to November) and Autumn (March to May) are excellent times to visit Argentina, with mild temperatures and fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months. It's perfect for exploring cities like Buenos Aires, Mendoza, and Cordoba, as well as outdoor activities like hiking in the Andes Mountains and wine tasting in the wine regions.
- Summer (December to February) is the peak tourist season, especially in popular destinations like Patagonia and the Lake District. Expect warm temperatures, vibrant nightlife, and crowded beaches. It's ideal for outdoor activities like trekking and wildlife watching.
- Winter (June to August) is a great time to visit Northern Argentina, including regions like Salta and Jujuy, where the weather is milder and there's less rain. It's also the best time for skiing and snowboarding in the Andes Mountains near Bariloche and Mendoza.

- The official currency is the Argentine Peso (ARS); however, many tour operators price their tours in US Dollar;
- If you are short on time in Buenos Aires, you can take a bike tour that will take you to see the whole city in one day, and will also introduce you to the local way of life
- Argentina has 18 ecoregions that make up a complex territory, including a subtropical zone, the Antarctic, high mountains, and some of the deepest parts of the Atlantic Ocean
- Bariloche is a gateway to the Argentinian Lake District. It offers a range of outdoor activities from kayaking on Lake Nahuel Huapi to winter sports around its mountains
